01
Deck Sizes
The size of a deck is expressed in inches. Most skateboarders focus on the width of the board, and the most common widths for adults are 8.25" and for younger/smaller skaters are 8". It's also important to take into account the difference of a few inches in the deck's length between the nose (front) and tail (rear). The typical length of a deck would be around 32".
The wheel base, which is typically around 14.25 inches, is the distance between the front and rear truck holes. To a certain extent, a person's physical stature can influence the deck they choose, but a skater's preferred deck size is frequently determined by their skating style and personal preferences.
In general, bigger boards are stronger, more stable, and faster than smaller boards. Smaller boards are lighter and simpler to flip for technical feats.

Skateboard Shapes
When it comes to street or skatepark skating, the popsicle board is the most popular and adaptable shape. Popsicle decks vary widely from one another, but they always feature a round tail, a slightly larger round nose, straight sides and a concave bottom. In recent years, symmetrical twin tail and twin nose popsicle decks that skate the same way in both directions have grown in popularity. Additionally, we have a broad range of speciality designs, including cruiser decks, which are often flatter and more pointed, and old school or pool boards, which are typically wider and have more tail than nose.

Our Deck Materials
All our decks are made of 7 ply maple wood from Canada with epoxy resin glue. They have a medium concave of 9.8mm thickness. Each will have our unique blue and pink coloured layers, synonymous with all Deckadence Products. The wood is said to offer the perfect ratio of strength to flexibility. Some companies save costs on their budget boards by using inferior Chinese maple or birch wood, however these decks are not as robust as we demand and are best suited for mild use or smaller skaters.
